Black makes me a bit nervous, especially if used on uneven walls.

I recall watching a design show on HGTV where a woman did her bathroom in black. It looked awful! The walls were uneven (and had old chunky paint underneath) and there were weird reflections coming of the black paint because it was so glossy.

But I do like the dark chocolate brown idea...I've seen really nice
