No Progress...No Report (But Check Out This Great Paint!)

Well, for the second Monday in a row, I have no progress to report on my tiny little condo. It was expected, though. I really had too much to do this weekend, and I kind of figured there would be no time left for home-related projects. Soooo...I'm not too disappointed. Next weekend will be a different story, though. I'm gonna work hard a week and try to get caugh up on my real work so that I can have all next weekend to finish up some projects.

So, since there's nothing to share in the home improvement category (at least related to my TLC), I wanted to share something I came across this weekend.

Chalkboard paint! If you haven't used chalkboard paint by now, I would say you're probably in the minority. It's so fun to use, whether it's on a door, a wall, for your child, for your kitchen...whatever! The possibilities are endless. But until now, I've been operating under the assumption that the only choices in chalkboard paint were black and green.

Boy, I could not have been more wrong! Enter, Hudson Paint...

And look at all of the fabulous colors it comes in!

And believe it or not, it's no more expensive that the black and green stuff at Home Depot! Of course, you do have to pay for shipping, but for those terrific colors, I think it would be well worth it!

Now if there still isn't a color that's just right for you, Layla over at The Lettered Cottage just happened to post the directions on how to make your own chalkboard paint with regular latex paint and unsanded tile grout mix. Looks pretty easy!
