Shopping For Christmas? Consider Fair Trade Gifts!

Just this morning, I learned about a great online fair trade resource called Trade As One. It's always fun to purchase beautiful products for myself or as a gift for someone, but it's even more rewarding to know that the proceeds are going to help less fortunate people in other countries earn a fair wage.

They have products in many categories, including jewelry, stationery, bags, sports & toys, apparel, etc. But here are a few of my favorite items from the house & home category.

Bloom Box, $6.00, made in Rajasthan, India

Boxes Tufted Rug, $99.00, from Nairobi, Kenya

Olive Wood Coasters, $24.00/set of 6 coasters, from West Bank

Recycled Magazine Bowl, $19.00, from Vietnam

Red Bamboo Footed Bowl, $29.50

Telephone Wire Bowl, $54.00

Woven Basket with Leather Wrapped Handles, $39.00

There's tons more to see! Just click here to see all of their great products. Have fun shopping, and feel great that you're helping others at the same time!
