At Home With Diane Keaton

The November issue of Architectural Digest featured the home of actress Diane Keaton. The home is simply fabulous--a 1920's Spanish Colonial Revival by architect Ralph Flewelling. Here's a peak at some of my favorite shots of the house:

I think the thing I love most about this house is that there's absolutely nothing pretentious about it. I mean, it's Diane Keaton's house! And while the house is undoubtedly very expensive (it's in Beverly Hills, after all), the look seems like something that's very attainable by the average homeowner if they know what items to look for. Oh sure, we may not have the fabulous location and the great views from the windows that she has. We may not have the budget for the authentic, antique Spanish furniture and lighting. We may not be able to purchase artwork from renowned artists. But we could certainly obtain the feel of this style on a reasonable budget.

To see more of Diane Keaton's house, you can visit the Architectural Digest website.

Be inspired, and happy decorating!

I know what you mean, Megan! I hate reading, but if I had a library like that, I might actually be enticed to stay a while and pick up a book!!

This is outstanding. I'm in love with that library like the other readers, and that collection of cacti on the kitchen table is so quirky! Love it! Thanks for sharing.
