Pietra Firma:: World's Most Exclusive Tiles

If this poor economy is having absolutely no effect on you, perhaps you have so much money that you can throw a little away! Well, if that's the case, I have just the decorating product for you.

Pietra Firma has launched a line of tiles called LuxTouch, which can be used on the floor, walls, or ceiling. Each square meter of tiles is inlaid with over 1000 diamonds, 2400 pieces of mother-of-pearl, 400 pieces of abalone shell and 500 pieces of black onyx. And the cost for these works of art? A mere $1,000,000 per square meter. Yes, you read that right...that's one million dollars per square meter.

Now my guess is that people who can afford such a luxury won't be reading my little blog aimed at DIY homeowners. But just in case you're filthy rich and have happened upon my little blog, and are interested in these tiles, you need to hurry! In order to ensure the exclusivity of these tiles, the company will only be selecting five design projects in which to use these tiles. You'll need to sign up quickly!!

Happy decorating,

Cool...the mother of pearl trimmed home decor is so common in our country. We actually export them here and to other countries.

Any idea where the Head Office of Pietra Firma is? or is there any other info about Pietra Firma? Their website does not give a phone number.

Unfortunately, I've already deleted the press release! I want to say that it's in Italy, but I can't be sure about that.

Thanks for your prompt answer. Just wondered what John Harwood Design (mentioned in Pietra's website) got to do with Pietra Firma?
